Subject: Liste de diffusion du GDR PhyTop (Topological Physics)
The GDR PhyTop is devoted to the study of emergent topological and geometrical properties in classical and quantum physical systems. Its goal is to bring together researchers working on a wide variety of platforms around this common theme, ranging from nanoscience to metamaterials, from photonics and phononics to acoustics and fluids. It aims to develop transversal theoretical concepts and tools, notably by relying on interactions with mathematics; to identify new topological systems; to uncover original topological effects in a broad diversity of physical systems; and to exploit these effects in the most suitable experimental platforms. Structured around five main axes — (i) beyond crystalline structures; (ii) non-Hermitian topology; (iii) topology and nonlinearities; (iv) interfaces with mathematics; and (v) application perspectives — the GDR is intended as a thematic crossroads, building new bridges between several physics communities around a shared phenomenology.
